Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs (ALTR, ARMH, BRCM, CVTI)

Altera Corporation ALTR shares created a new 52-week high of $27.74, before slipping slightly to $27.69, representing a 0.36% gain. ALTR has added 6.375-Gbps transceivers and up to 1.25-Gbps LVDS support to enhance its Arria® II GX FPGA variant. ARM Holdings ARMH shares created a new high of $13.68, before slipping to $13.65, reflecting a 0.37% rise. ARMH has climbed up from its lows in June on rumors of Apple AAPL buying the chipmaker. Broadcom Corporation BRCM shares reached $36.96 to create a new 52-week high, before slipping slightly to $36.77, representing a 1.29% gain. BRCM has extended the period of its offer for Innovision Research & Technology PLC until Friday, July 16. Covenant Transportation Group, Inc CVTI shares moved up to create a new 52-week high of $8.75, before it slipped to $8.71.
