Commercial Vehicle Stocks Show Resilience

The stocks of commercial vehicles and trucks companies have not taken as much beating as the broader market. These stocks have continued to outperform the Standard & Poor 500 since March 2009. The simple ratio of stock price and S&P 500 has been increasing, which indicates that the stocks are beating the broader market. This may be interpreted as a sign that when the broader market makes a comeback, these stocks will be on the forefront. However, this does not make these stocks a Buy. Caterpillar CAT, Cummins CMI and ArvinMeritor ARM are some stocks that have been holding up well.
