Hermes H1 Net Profit Surges 14%

French company Hermes International SCA HESAF posted an increase in its profit for the first half of the year. Hermes's net profit for the period surged 14% to 381.7 million euros ($507.5 million), from EUR335.1 million, in the year-ago period. Its operating profit climbed 14% to EUR584.1 million from EUR510.9 million. Its sales gained 11% to EUR1,767.2 million.
