Unisys Awarded USDA Contract

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development agency has awarded a contract to Unisys UIS for applications modernization and end user support services. Under this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle, Unisys will support the full range of the agency's programs serving the citizens of rural America, including the Comprehensive Loan Program (CLP) and other initiatives that provide financial assistance related to the U.S. Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The contract has one base year and four one-year options, which are exercisable at the sole discretion of the government. The estimated value of the base year of the contract is $29.5 million, and the contract has a ceiling value of $150 million over five years.
