On Thursday after the closing bell, online travel company Expedia EXPE released its Q2 earnings results. The company reported adjusted net income of $129.3 million or $0.44 per share, compared to $113.7 million or $0.38 per share in the year ago period. This beat Wall Street EPS estimates of $0.42.
Revenues, however, were on the light side. EXPE reported revenue of $834 million versus $770 million in the second quarter of 2009. This missed Wall Street expectations of $845.48 million.
