FirstGroup Posts Narrower H1 Loss

FirstGroup PLC FGROY reported a narrower first-half pretax loss. FirstGroup posted a pretax loss of 8 million pounds ($12.8 million) in the period, versus a year-ago loss of GBP20.6 million. Its revenue rose to GBP3.30 billion from GBP3.25 billion. Excluding special items, its pretax profit came in at GBP28.3 million.
