ERX gained 10.35%, and closed at $32.67.In the space, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation APC spiked 8.30%, and Schlumberger Limited SLB added 5.25%. Direxion Daily Real Estate Bull 3X (ETF) DRN gained 9.85%, as Simon Property Group, Inc SPG moved sharply higher. Simon Property (SPG) gained 4.83%, and Kimco Realty Corporation KIM jumped 2.79%. Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bull 3x Shares(ETF) EDC jumped 7.78%, as the MSCI Emerging Market Index had a successful day. Petroleo Brasileiro SA (ADR) PBR gained 3.50%, and Vale (ADR) VALE spiked 4.57%. ProShares Ultra Oil & Gas (ETF) DIG jumped 7.01%, as oil spiked above $81. Positive economic reports, and rising equity market pushed oil to its 12-week high.
