Jefferies updated its model after Church & Dwight CHD hosted a conference call on August 5th.
Church & Dwight manufactures household and personal care items, including brands such as Arm & Hammer, Trojan, Nair, and Oxiclean.
Jefferies raised its 2010E EPS estimate to $3.98 from $3.90. 2011E EPS estimate was also raised to $4.40 from $4.35,
Jefferies said, "Our 12-month price target is $70, or 16x our 2011E EPS of $4.40, towards the lower end of its 5-year range of 16-21x, given the difficult consumer environment. Risks include consumer spending, input cost and pricing pressure, private label, and retailer inventory actions."
Church & Dwight is rated Hold by Jefferies, with a price target of $70.
Shares of CHD are currently trading at $62.35.
