Best Buy Setting $199 Price On Droid 2 (MOT, BBY, GOOG)

Best Buy BBY is announcing a $199 price point on the new Droid 2 smart phone from Motorola MOT according to leaks from engadget. The phone will launch at $199 with a two year contract subsidy from Verizon Wireless, its carrier and a $599 price with no contract. It is expected the phone will be released on August 12th, but no confirmation of that date has been given yet.
