3PAR Surges On HPQ’s Offer

Shares of 3PAR Inc PAR are advancing after Hewlett-Packard HPQ decided to bid for PAR. PAR’s shares jumped 43.07% to $25.81 at 1:58 pm. HPQ has decided to bid for PAR at $24 per share, just days after Dell DELL decided to offer $18 per share for the company. 3PAR’s shares have risen 86.94% over the last week and gained 52.24% so far this year.
