Financial Stock Round-Up (WFC, BAC, JPM, C, GS, MS, XLF)

The Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF XLF is flirting with positive territory with a little more than an hour left in the trading day. Currently, the XLF is up 0.04% to $13.52. Here are how some other widely owned financial names are faring on Wednesday. Most of the large names are negative, although not drastically so. Wells Fargo WFC -0.55% Bank of America BAC -0.20% J.P. Morgan Chase JPM -0.14% Citigroup C -0.94% Goldman Sachs +0.65% Morgan Stanley -0.08% If these financial names do not begin picking up, any rally in stocks will be short lived. Right now all of these names are trading heavy. They need to lead the market higher. Until that happens, the indices will meander at best and plunge at worst.
