Too Dangerous To Short Here (DJIA, SPX, AAPL, MCD)

After today's dismal durable goods and new home sales reports, the market has rallied into the green. The Dow (DJIA) is up 23 pionts and the S&P (SPX) is higher by 3.50 points to 1,055. This morning the S&P hit 1,040 and began to move higher. The 1,040 level has acted as support for most of the summer. In addition, key stocks such as Apple AAPL and McDonald's MCD are moving higher. These are market leaders in my opinion and without them leading the way there will be no rally. Right now, with all the doom and gloom and daily talk of Hindenburg Omens and Great Depressions, everyone is leaning to the short side. Too dangerous of a trade for me.
