Ford To Unveil New Vehicles In India (F)

Ford F is going to unveil 8 new vehicles in India as it looks to expand globally to capitalize on stronger demand, writes the Wall Street Journal. Ford said it would release its popular Figo in more than 50 markets next year the company said. The Figo model has been popular in India, where it was introduced, to such emerging markets as Mexico, North Africa and the Middle East. "By the middle of this decade, we will introduce eight new vehicles to India from our global platforms, in segments appropriate for this market," Joe Hinrichs, president of Ford Asia Pacific and Africa said.
