American Physicians Service Group Inc AMPH shares jumped 22.51% to create a new 52-week high of $32.22. ProAssurance Corp PRA has announced plans to acquire AMPH for about $233 million or $32.50 per share, representing a 24% premium to AMPH’s closing price on Tuesday.
