ESPOO, Finland (TheStreet) -- Nokia NOK will delay shipments of its N8 smartphone until October, pushing back the release a few weeks to make some final tweaks, according to reports.
The N8 was originally scheduled to be released this month. Nokia didn't specify what changes it planned to make but said they were to ensure the best user experience, according to various reports.
"In some markets, we had planned to start delivering the Nokia N8 to our pre-order customers by the end of September," Nokia said in an emailed statement, Marketwatch reports. "To ensure a great user experience, we have decided to hold the shipments for a few weeks to do some final amends."
