Janus Capital Group Inc Grabs Bill Gross: What Do The Experts Think?

Janus Capital Group Inc JNS is one of Friday's big stock market winners after Bill Gross, founder of PIMCO and its most noteworthy executive for four decades, announced he is heading to work for the Denver-based firm.

In a note to clients, Janus Chief Executive Officer Richard Weil announced Gross's hire, adding that the bond guru will help "build out a new Global Macro Fixed Income business and he will be named the Portfolio Manager of the recently launched Janus Global Unconstrained Bond Fund," effective October 6. Gross will also work closely with Myron Scholes, Weil said.
