Social sentiment is becoming an increasingly important part of the puzzle when it comes to stock market analytics. According to Market Prophit, which tracks both crowd sentiment and experts' views on Twitter, a handful of stocks are buzzing this Friday afternoon:
- Sears Holdings Corp SHLD
- Alibaba Group Holding Ltd BABA
- Intercept Pharmaceuticals Inc ICPT
- Yahoo! Inc. YHOO
Market Prophit's Igor Gonta said Sears, in particular, is "up big on [the company] trying to convert to a REIT." Sentiment among both the crowd and Twitter's most skilled traders is bullish.
