Asentinel Initiates Patent Infringement Lawsuit against AnchoPoint

Asentinel, LLC announced it has filed a patent infringement complaint against AnchorPoint, a division of MTS; Cass Information Systems, Inc. CASS; and Veramark Technologies Inc. (VERA). The complaint seeks damages and injunctive relief for infringement of Asentinel's telecommunications expense management (TEM) patents. Asentinel filed the complaint against the three companies in the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee alleging their solutions violate two Asentinel patents. Asentinel's TEM software patents cover systems and methods of processing and analyzing invoices that enable large corporate users of telecommunications services to save millions of dollars on their telecommunications services. The patents include over 80 claims directed to a broad range of TEM features. Additionally, Asentinel has a continuation patent application pending that seeks additional claim coverage, and additional applications pending in Canada and Europe.
