While these Tweeters will not typically provide free investment advice, following them is nevertheless a useful endeavor. Many investors on Twitter have their own agendas when they post about a stock; others don’t even talk about investing at all. However, knowing what the best money managers in the world are thinking is a privilege that was unimaginable about a decade ago.

The Chairman of Icahn Enterprises L.P. is not a very active tweeter. Nonetheless, when he does have something to say, it is usually worth reading it. Icahn usually comments on companies in which he invests in addition to sharing some of his articles and letters.
