A few weeks ago, Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi launched a wearable action camera that offers similar features as the GoPro Inc GPRO Hero camera, but retails at half the price.
Prior to that, almost a year ago, the company unveiled an Android-powered, 49-inch, 4K smart TV for sale at $645.
In its latest move, the company presented a new Android powered smart TV with a 40-inch, 1080p screen. It retails at just $322 (¥1999).

Xiaomi’s latest affordable Mi TV 2 will be launched for purchase on March 31 via mi.com in China.
According to the company, the new TV features Sharp’s SDP X-GEN LED backlit panel, with a contrast ratio of 5000:1. Powering the smart TV is an MStar 6A908 SoC, which is built from four Cortex-A9 CPU cores and a Mali 450 M4 GPU, backed by 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
Google Inc GOOGL GOOG will provide the operating system.
The TV works on a MIUI customized Android OS, based on Android 4.4, although sources say an update to Android 5.0 is already in the works.
As usual with Xiaomi products, the TV will be first available in China only.
