Privately held competitor Spotify was reportedly close to raising $400 million of new funding that would value Spotify at $8.4 billion. XOMA Corp. XOMA picked up more than 3 percent in Friday's extended session, changing hands recently at $3.92. The Berkley, California-based drug development company didn't issue news. Conatus Pharmaceuticals Inc. CNAT rose nearly 2.5 percent to $6.23 in late trading. On Wednesday, the company completed a public offering of 4 million shares at $5.75 a share. Vanguard Natural Resources LLC VNRAP gained about 2 percent after hours Friday to $24.47. The Houston-based oil and gas company didn't post any news. Sohu.com Inc. SOHU changed hands in late trading at $58.88, up nearly 2 percent. The Chinese online media, search, gaming, community company's shares are up 8 percent during the past week. Global Cash Access Holdings Inc. GCA declined 5.7 percent to $7.24 a share. The casino services company had closed up earlier by more than 6 percent and didn't issue any news. Infinity Pharmaceuticals Inc. INFI dipped 2.8 percent in after-hours trading, to $14.48, on no clear catalyst. The company closed up 10 percent for the week. Iridium Communications Inc. NASDAQ: IRDMB) fell 2.6 percent to $368.37 in late trading. The satellite telephone company didn't communicate any news. Freshpet Inc. FRPT leaked 2.4 percent to $23.50 in extended trading Friday after closing down more than 5 percent. The pet-food company didn't issue news, but closed for the week up 10 percent. Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. ARLP dropped 2.3 percent to $33.98 in late trading. The Tulsa, Oklahoma coal miner's shares closed up Friday by a similar percentage.
