Tesla's Latest Move In Australia

Tesla Motors Inc TSLA has chosen the first location of its regional Supercharger network in Australia, according to a report on Clean Technica.

The Goulburn Visitor’s Centre will host 8 supercharging stations and was “the first in what is expected to a country-wide network of Supercharger stations, which will add around 270kms to the range of the Tesla S, for no charge, and in just 30 minutes,” the report noted.

Tesla has provided a map of expected charging stations available in 2016.

The supercharging station at Goulburn will be largely powered by renewable energy while the visitor’s center already uses rooftop solar panels.

Tesla Motors Inc recently traded at $206.47, down 1.58 percent. Year to Date the stock had declined 7.41 percent.
