Shares of LoJack Corp LOJN surged about 24% after the company posted strong rise in its overseas sales. The company swung to profit of $0.15 per share, as compared with a net loss of $0.78 per share, in the year-ago quarter. The company's consolidated revenue increased 7% y/y. However, revenue in its North America segment dropped 7% y/y. The two leading indexes of the drug sector dropped today after the shares of GTx Inc GTXI dipped about 11.7%, as the company planned to sell minimum 14.3 shares at $2.80 per share, representing a 12% discount from yesterday's closing price. Shares of Amylin AMLN gained about 6.8% after analysts at Leerink Swann upgraded AMLN to “outperform.” Shares of Illumina Inc ILMN also advanced about 7% after the company reported strong quarterly results yesterday. Analysts are expecting Motorola Inc MOT to post a strong rise in its Q3 earnings, driven by healthy demand for its Android-based smart phones. Motorola is all set to report its quarterly results before the opening bell tomorrow. Wall Street expects MOT to post its earnings at $0.12 per share on revenue of $5.65 billion, up from earnings of $0.01 per share on $5.5 billion in revenue, in the year-ago period. Shares of F5 Networks FFIV jumped about 13% after the company issued upbeat projections for fiscal first-quarter. The company projected its FQ1 adjusted earnings of $0.80 to $0.82 per share on revenue of $265 million to $270 million, up from analysts' estimates of $0.73 per share on $260 million in revenue.
