Fuller, Smith & Turner Full-Year Pretax Profit Surges

Fuller, Smith & Turner PLC FTUAF reported a gain in its pretax profit for the full year. The company's pretax profit for the year climbed 7.8 percent to 36.1 million pounds ($55.1 million), compared to GBP33.5 million in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed 12 percent to GBP321.5 million. The company's board lifted its annual dividend by 10 percent to 16.60 pence. Chief executive Simon Emeny said, "It has been another year of excellent progress for the Company and I am delighted to be reporting growth in all three areas of the business. Our Managed Pubs and Hotels business continues to outperform the industry, the Fuller's Beer Company has seen growth in all channels and our Tenanted business has had an outstanding year."
