A spate of terror attacks on three continents left dozens dead and an unknown toll of wounded Friday.
Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. APD's gas factory in southern France was the site of a suspected attack that apparently sought unsuccessfully to blow up the site. At least one person was killed, according to multiple reports
In Tunisia at least 27 people died when a gunman opened fire at a beach, while in Kuwait City, eight people were reportedly injured by an explosion in a Shiite mosque, according to reports.
There was no immediate indication that the attacks were coordinated, according to The New York Times.

But the three strikes came at roughly the same time, and just days after the Islamic State, the militant group also known as ISIS or ISIL, called for such operations during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, according to the Times.
Air Products, an American chemical company based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, didn't confirm to the Associated Press whether any employees were injured or killed.
Its site in Istres, France, makes cryogenic transportation containers for liquid helium. Istres is near Lyon.
"Our priority at this stage is to take care of our employees, who have been evacuated from the site and all accounted for," the company said in a statement issued to the news agency.
"The site is secure. Our crisis and emergency response teams have been activated and are working closely with all relevant authorities," the company said.
Air Products's shares were little changed in recent trading at $143.10.
