CVR Energy Reports Third Quarter EPS of $.27

CVR Energy, Inc. CVI today reported third quarter 2010 net income of $23.2 million, or $0.27 per fully diluted share, on net sales of $1,031.2 million. The 2010 third quarter results compared to a net loss of $13.4 million, or a loss of $0.16 per share, for the same quarter of 2009 on net sales of $811.7 million. For the first nine months of 2010, the company reported net income of $12.0 million, or $0.14 per fully diluted share, on net sales of $2,931.6 million, compared to net income of $59.9 million, or $0.69 per fully diluted share, for the nine months period in 2009, on net sales of $2,214.4 million.
