Jacobs Receives Contract for Multi-purpose GMP Manufacturing Facility in China

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. JEC announced today that it received a contract from Porton Fine Chemicals Ltd. Jacobs, who earlier performed basic engineering services for this project, is expected to provide detailed engineering services for a new multi-purpose GMP manufacturing facility at Chongqing Changshou Chemical Industrial Park, located in Changshou District, Chongqing, China. Officials did not disclose the contract value; however indicated the project detailed design will be performed from Jacobs' Singapore and Shanghai offices.
