The company projected its Q4 earnings at $0.15 to $0.17 per share, down from analysts' estimates of $0.29 per share. Honda Motor Co HMC reported a 15.6% y/y surge in its US October sales. The company's US sales came in at 98,811 vehicles. The company's total car sales increased 4.8% y/y to 51,881 units, while its total truck sales surged 30.4% y/y to 46,930 vehicles. HMC shares are down about 0.05%. The US dollar rebounded versus the euro, with US equities trading down as investors are awaiting the policy decision by the Federal Reserve later in the session.
