Intel INTC has signed a definitive agreement, to acquire German drone company, Ascending Technologies. Terms were not disclosed. Intel closed at $33.99 on Monday, down 1.34%. Accenture Acquires CRMWaypoint The Deal:
Accenture ACN has acquired the Amesterdam-based supplier of cloud advisory and technology services, CRMWaypoint. Terms were not disclosed. Accenture closed at $101.29 on Monday, down 3%. Microchip to Submit Binding Offer for Atmel The Rumor:
Microchip Technology Inc MCHPis working on submitting a binding offer for Atmel Corp ATML by early next week, according to sources reported by Reuters on Monday. Reuters reported on December 15, that Microchip was the undisclosed bidder who offered $3.8 billion for Atmel. On September 20, Atmel agreed to be acquired by Dialong for $4.65 per share in cash and 0.112 of a Dialog ADS per Atmel share. Atmel closed at $8.68 on Monday, up $0.07. Activision Acquires Major League Gaming The Deal:
Activision Blizzard, Inc. ATVI announced Monday, the acquisition of the business of Major League Gaming, which creates and streams premium live gaming events. Terms were not disclosed, but eSports Observer reported the purchase price as $46 million. Activision Blizzard closed at $37.62 on Monday, and traded about 1% higher after-hours.
