Hector Manosalva Appointed 2nd Alternate President of Ecopetrol

At a session of the Board of Directors of Ecopetrol. S.A. EC held on November 12, 2010, Engineer Hector Manosalva, current Executive Vice President of Exploration and Production of the Company, was appointed second alternate President of the Company. Engineer Manosalva replaced Engineer Nelson Navarrete, who retired from the Company. Also, Engineer Pedro Rosales, current Executive Vice President of Downstream of the Company, was confirmed as first alternate.
