The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI) dropped about 0.97%, while the NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG) moved down about 0.6%. However, the Philadelphia Oil Service Sector Index (OSX) inched up about 0.4%. Shares of the financial stocks moved up, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR exchange-traded fund (XLF) gaining about 0.21%. The top decliners were Lincoln National Corp LNC and Genworth Financial Inc GNW. The top gainer in the list includes KeyCorp KEY. Canadian stocks are trading lower today. The S&P/TSX Composite Index lost about 0.27%. Shares of Copper miner Teck Resources Limited TCK and Ivanhoe Mines Limited IVN moved down. Shares of Canadian financials also moved down. Shares of Research in Motion Ltd RIMM also lost about 1.5%. Shares of AMAG Pharmaceuticals Inc AMAG gained about 14% after the company reached an agreement with the FDA about labeling for its anemia treatment. Shares of Amarin Corporation Plc AMRN also surged about 55% after the company reported positive results from its 1st Phase 3 clinical trial of lead drug candidate AMR101. However, the drug sector's two key indexes declined, with the NYSE Arca Pharmaceutical Index (DRG) losing about 1.7% and the NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index (BTK) dropping about 1.9%.
