Japanese Stocks End Monday Trading Down 0.11%

The Nikkei 225 Japanese stock index opened at 10,175.23, just below the previous trading day's close of 10,178.32, and was in negative territory for the rest of the day. The Nikkei 225 fell further during the trading day but recovered somewhat in the last hours before the market closed, to end Monday trading in Tokyo down 11.09 points, or 0.11%, at 10,167.23. The day's range for the Japanese stock index was between 10,143.58 and 10,179.82.
