Smaller Players Making A Dent In ETF Business

The November ETF stats have started to trickle in and while surprises aren't exactly plentiful, there are a couple of issues worth highlighting, namely the fact that there continues to be plenty of room for ETF issuers NOT named iShares, State Street Global Advisors or Vanguard. That notion is illustrated by Schwab's SCHW November inflows of $205 million, a sharp improvement over $170 million in October. WisdomTree was no slouch either gaining $490 million in fresh cash last month, fourth best for the month despite being the eighth-largest ETF manager with roughly $8.7 billion in assets, according to Barron's.
