Shares of JetBlue Airways Corp JBLU dropped about 6.3% after the company reduced its Q4 revenue per available seat mile projections. JBLU shares have surged 19% year-to-date. Shares of Home Depot HD gained about 1.1% after the company projected its 2011 profit to rise 11% to 13% after share buyback. The company also projected its current-year adjusted earnings at $1.97 per share. The company earlier forecasted its current-year earnings at $1.94 per share. However, analysts expected earnings at $1.94 per share. US financial stocks are trading higher, with the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLF) rising about 1%. Shares of KKR Financial Holdings KFN lost about 3.3% after the company announced it plans to sell 18 million shares in an underwritten public offering. The top gainers in the list included Lincoln National Corp LNC, Goldman Sachs Group Inc GS, Morgan Stanley MS and MGIC Investment Corp MTG. Shares of Occidental Petroleum Corp OXY dropped as the analysts at RBC Capital Markets initiated coverage of OXY with an “outperform” rating and a price target of $105.
