Wal-Mart Not Budging On Sunday Pay

Wal-Mart WMT continues to put its foot in the ground, as it refuses to pay an extra $1/hour for Sunday work. Wal-Mart said that the change will take affect next year, and will only apply to employees hired after January 1. The move applies to Wal-Mart workers, as well as Sam's club. It will not apply to Wal-Mart's distribution centers. Shares of WMT lost 30 cents today to close at $54.59.
