Paul Kedrosky Now On Bloomberg

Infectious Greed author Paul Kedrosky made headline news when he announced that he had partnered with Bloomberg. Today, readers can finally see the results of that partnership via Kedrosky's new blog: http://bloomberg.com/kedrosky. As the creator of one of the most well-known and well-respected finance blogs on the Web, Kedrosky brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Bloomberg. He joins Bloomberg News' existing team of columnists, including Michael Lewis, Al Hunt, Margaret Carlson, Caroline Baum and Jonathan Weil. Additionally, Kedrosky will appear on Bloomberg Radio and Bloomberg Television. He will also write for Bloomberg Businessweek. Josh Tyrangiel, Editor of Bloomberg Businessweek, praised Kedrosky's strong voice in the business blogosphere. “His deep knowledge of finance and technology will complement our current roster," said Tyrangiel, who's also responsible for editorial direction of Businessweek.com and Bloomberg.com. "This type of model, pairing high quality advertising with a must-read contributor across our unique and broad range of media assets, is a key strategy for us," adds Kevin Krim, global head of Bloomberg Web Properties. "I'm teaming with Bloomberg because it's the preeminent provider of global financial and economic news, data and information," Kedrosky explained. "We see things in similar ways: we love data, visuals, and synthesizing across economics, markets, sports, science, technology and current affairs." Kedrosky, who was previously an analyst for CNBC and a contributor to TheStreet.com, has been credited as one of the first analysts to cover Internet companies. He financed and launched one of the first hosted blog services, GrokSoup, and founded the technology equity research practice at HSBC James Cape HBC. Fans of Infectious Greed can rest easy knowing that it will continue to operate as a separate site.
