Apple's iPad Fiasco (AAPL)

It was announced that Apple Inc. AAPL is part of a lawsuit after it was found out that its iPad and iPhone devices were letting app developers have access to their users information without the users' knowledge. The news was first reported by Bloomberg. The lawsuit was filed last week in San Jose, Calif. Also cited as defendants in the case are Pandora, Paper Toss, the Weather Channel and Dictionary.com. Benzinga called Apple to request comment on the story, but a call was not returned. Shares of AAPL are up 79 cents to $325.47, a gain of 0.24%.
