Previewing Today's Economic Reports

Today is pretty light in terms of economic reports, but the few that are being released have heavy weight in terms of being market moving. Factory Orders for November are due out at 10:00 ET, and economists expect a drop of 0.3%. At 2:15 p.m. EST, the minutes from the last FOMC minutes will be released. We'll also see truck and car sales being released today for the month of December from the manufacturers, such as Ford F, General Motors GM, Toyota TM and Honda HMC. Depending on how the auto sales come in compared to expectations, these companies could see pops or drops based on the results.
