Blackrock Sees Double Digit Rise In Stocks In 2011 (BLK)

Blackrock's BLK Bob Doll said that 2011 could be a strong year for stocks, and post double-digit returns this year. Doll said that 1,350 is a floor for the end of the year for the S&P 500, which is a 7.4% move higher. Doll also believes the U.S. will outperform the MSCI World Index, which it did last year. "Equities are likely to take over from fixed income as the preferred asset class," he said. Doll said likes the energy sector as his top pick, and technology came in second. Financials were his least favorite. Doll said S&P earnings will be higher than the $91.47 the index earned in 2007, which was a record.
