The Bon-Ton Stores Announces December Sales of $510.8M

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. BONT today announced comparable store sales for the five weeks ended January 1, 2011 increased 0.1%. Total sales for the five weeks decreased 0.1% to $510.8 million compared with $511.1 million for the prior year period. Year-to-date comparable store sales increased 1.0%. Year-to-date total sales increased 0.7% to $2,800.4 million compared with $2,779.7 million for the same period last year.
