According to a report from AllThingsD, Verizon VZ is setting a special press event for Tuesday in New York to discuss the Apple AAPL iPhone. Shares of VZ are down 35 cents in late Friday trading to $35.88. Shares of Apple are up $2.23 to $335.96.
