Best Biotech Stocks To Own Now (CRIS, CGEN, SPPI, IPXL)

Marketwatch has a list of five biotech stocks to own now, for a wide variety of reasons. The four names the author mentions are Cerus CERS, Curis CRIS, Compugen CGEN, Spectrum Pharmaceuticals SPPI, and Impax Laboratories IPXL. Regarding Cerus, the author says that the company has a technology that cleans donated blood of potential viruses, bacteria, parasites. The author believes the FDA will eventually approve the system, known as INTERCEPT Blood System. He sees it being worth $14 in a few years. Curis has more than 20 drug trials ongoing with Roche Genentech with regards to cancer treatments. He thinks the stock could go to $40 from around $2 if the company hits with one of its trials.
