Exide Technologies Prices Senior Secured Notes

Exide Technologies XIDE today announced the pricing of its private placement of $675 million in aggregate principal amount of 8⅝% senior secured notes due 2018. The Notes were priced at 100% of the principal amount of the Notes, plus accrued interest, if any, from January 25, 2011. The Notes will be the Company's senior secured obligations and will not be guaranteed by any of the Company's subsidiaries on the issue date.
