Cepheid CPHD is up 69 cents to $24.36, a gain of nearly 3%, as the company nears its earnings call. Earnings are set to be released on January 27. It's traded almost 500,000 shares, whereas the average daily volume is 425,000 shares. Cepheid develops, manufactures, and markets integrated systems for testing in the clinical market, as well as for application in legacy biothreat, industrial, and partner markets.
