AGL Resources, Nicor File Joint Application for Merger Approval

AGL Resources AGL and Nicor Inc. GAS today filed a joint application with the Illinois Commerce Commission for approval of reorganization of Nicor Inc., the Illinois parent holding company of Nicor Gas. AGL Resources and Nicor announced plans for the $8.6 billion dollar merger on Dec. 7, 2010.
