Foster Wheeler Awarded Contract to Supply Circulating Fluidized-Bed Steam Generator

Foster Wheeler AG FWLT announced today that a subsidiary of its Global Power Group has been awarded a contract by Kraftanlagen Power Plants GmbH to design, supply and erect a circulating fluidized-bed steam generator and the associated auxiliary equipment for the Alpiq Generating s.r.o. Kladno Power Plant in the Czech Republic. Foster Wheeler has now received a full notice to proceed on this contract. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, and the contract value will be included in the company's fourth-quarter 2010 bookings. Commercial operation of the plant is scheduled for the end of 2013.
