Apple Inc. AAPL shares are trading lower by $2.40 $90.11 in Thursday's session. After rebounding off the $92 level several times since August, there weren't any buyers to find at that level shortly after opening bell.
Several sell-stops (Sell Stop Order is an order to sell a stock at a price below the current market price to either a long or initiate a short) may have exacerbated the decline.
So far, the ensuing decline has reached $89.47 and is attempting to remain in the $90 handle. That marks the lowest level for the issue since it bottomed at $88.93 in June 2014.
