Top Narrow Based Indexes For January 25 (MCP, DVA, NAV)

By 11:10 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 36.59 points, or 0.31%, to 11,943.93, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had fallen 2.85 points, or 0.22%. The NASDAQ composite index dropped 6.30 points, or 0.23%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Rare Earth Stocks, which have gained 1.1%, Dialysis and Kidney Disease Stocks, up 1.0%, and Trucks and Auto Stocks, moving 1.0% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Rare Earth complex, Molycorp Inc MCP had surged 4.3%. MCP announced its plans to expand its production capacity at California mine and finance the expansion by selling $172.5 million in preferred shares. The best performing Tickerspy Dialysis and Kidney Disease stock has been DaVita Inc DVA, which was up 4%. DVA is scheduled to report its Q4 earnings on February 10. Navistar International Corp NAV is today's leading Tickerspy's Trucks and Auto stock, gaining 7%. NAV projected to report stronger-than-expected 2011 earnings. Read more from Benzinga's Markets.
