Nucor Reports Q4 EPS of $(0.04) vs. $(0.10)

Nucor Corporation NUE announced today a consolidated net loss of $11.4 million or $0.04 per diluted share, for the fourth quarter of 2010. By comparison, Nucor reported net earnings of $23.5 million, or $0.07 per diluted share, in the third quarter of 2010 and net earnings of $58.9 million, or $0.18 per diluted share, in the fourth quarter of 2009. For the full year of 2010, Nucor reported consolidated net earnings of $134.1 million, or $0.42 per diluted share, compared with a net loss of $293.6 million or $0.94 per diluted share for 2009.
