Verizon Signs Contract With Windstream

Verizon Wireless VZ has been selected as the primary wireless provider for Windstream Corp., an S&P 500 company with annual revenues of about $4 billion. Under the contract, Verizon Wireless will provide wireless phones and service for Windstream's corporate and field workforce. Headquartered in Little Rock, Ark., Windstream provides high-speed Internet, phone and digital TV services to residential customers and IP-based voice and data services to businesses and government agencies.
